Dennis, Katie, Jerry: This JUST in news: very very relevant and promising news
Is this a coincidince, the timing of this....hmmmm

http://www.cnbc.com/id/28816038/site/14081545/for/cnbc/

Makesure to read all the way down where they talk of needing 10 to 12 people with spinal cord injuries only a couple weeks old for their clinical trial which was just o.k.d by FDA

I was so excited I called my daughter, Laura, and asked her or boyfriend, Jessie, to text Dennis immediately -
No matter how one feels about this kind of research, the potential for success and cure is something to pray for.
I say go for it Geron Inc. - pronounced: Jer-on....hmmm....another coincidence?...
I just happened to walk in on my unattended t.v. that was tuned to CNBC, and this breaking news was on!

I finally figured out why my comments weren't posting.....I have to type in the little word that pops up below for verification. Don't I feel silly.
Anyway, Jerry, we love you and we know God is directing you towards HIS path to healing all of you.
See you this weekend!

Dear Jerry and family,
My husband, Tony, had a c4-6 spinal cord injury here in Santa Cruz in Oct 07 and is now walking with canes and crutches. This area of his cord was badly bruised and he had no movement except his shoulders and a slight wiggle of his left big toe. He was airlifted to Valley Med and stayed there for 9 weeks. We have 2 kids 13 and 16. Our lives changed immensely since we were all avid mountain bikers and skiers. We, too had a strong community of wonderful friends who came to our side for support. Please call us so we can share our knowledge from that time to the present. We have left our # with someone at the Redwood Christian Park who will be contacting you.
Today is a good day for stem cell and spinal cord injuries. Stay positive and move anything you can as much as you can. You are young and healthy. It has been a long road for us and with much therapy.
My husband will be in to visit his old therapists soon to show them how far he has come. We will look for you.
God Bless,
DB
