Monday - Jan 26

Jerry had a good day, he did his normal therapies and felt pretty good for the most part today. Jerry got to get in the swimming pool for the first time and he enjoyed that very much. Jerry had friends visit tonight which always brightens his day. I apologize for the short post it's after midnight and the first opportunity I've had to give an update. I need to get some rest I'll give a more thorough update tomorrow. Thank you all for continued prayer. Please pray God will give Jerry more movement with each day, pray Jerry will continue to be optimistic and never lose hope, pray Jerry will stay strong and give everything he can in his rehab therapy.

Thank you,
Katie

Katie, a short post lets us know all is well; and getting sleep is definitely important! I hope you did get some good sleep.
We continue to pray here that God is using those spasms to reconnect and heal the damage to Jerry's system. God is so good to give such amazing progress in such a short time.

You kids are too cute! I didn't know Jessie was going to get to swim with Jerry. How cool is that!
Here is praying that you have a fabulous day today Jer, and that God lifts your spirits to new heights and allows your body to continue to heal.
Lord, please take good care of Jerry's family today, keep them strong and healthy. Amen!
I'll be over to visit tomorrow.
Keep smiling Jerry, I love you!
P.S. Thanks Mitchell for the kind words on the garlic bread, when you are home from school I'll be sure and make you some. Then we can all pig out with Jerry.

Very handsome! as always, we are praying for all of you -

So I have some small town talk & a little humor to share:
For anyone wondering about what's up with "word verification"...

I ran into Betsy Simonson's mom, Karen, who was telling me that she had difficulty & was unable to "publish" her comment on your blog here. Said 'it' wouldn't let her, despite correctly entering "word verification". I laughingly replied that I don't know what the reason for "word verification" is, but was kind of wondering when "they" would finally block that crazy unknown lady (me)....& I'm still able to LOL
Fast forward, at home & am wondering aloud about what's up with this word verification - when heard from the next room is my 14 year old telling me that she thinks the reason for "word
verification" is to make sure we "don't do it drunk"!!

Stating that this was what she had heard.
Now, many of us probably aren't quite sure what the deal is with "word verification"
- to ensure drunks aren't blogging had never entered my mind!
So for anyone reading this that ever wondered, like me, the reason for "word verification" apparently it's to prevent 'unmanned' computers from blogging, lol, uh, entering a site unsolicited. Like spam ? If you don't enter anything it sometimes clears the word and doesn't replace it with another jumbled word, just a blank box with an x (when that happens click on "preview" and it will come back with word to enter, works for me.)
If this is incorrect, please somebody say so!
I hope this little story brings a chuckle, smile.
Stay strong.

Wow Jerry you look great! I cant believe how fast your progressing.I believe the same as you Katie I think all the spasms are the nerves sending messages and it's just going to take some time for it all to reroute it's path way. Also I told Vince about the spasms,he thinks that's a good sign.I hope to come and see you this weekend Jerry all call first.

Hi Dennis, Katie, Jerry, Josh, Janea and Jessie

Just want you to know that I'm thinking about you and praying for you.

God has blessed me with a wonderful family and I love you all so much.

I know God is working in all your lives. He will not forsake you. It says in the Bible that when two people come together and pray that your God will hear your prayers. Well last count there was way more than that praying for you.

God has been here all along in this journey and He will continue to be there for you.

Love you Grandma & Grandpa
