Late Monday Night

Well it's late at night, Jerry is snoring, and I can't seem to sleep. That's OK though, as I think I slept more the last 2 nights than I have in a while. I feel better today, thank you all, and we (Jerry and I) had a nice time together. Momma got home safe in ol' red, so we sat down and did some reading and reflecting. We got caught up on some blog posts, watched the you-tube video on lamilin, Truly inspirational, and did some foot moves. Yes, Jerry was concentrating on moving his feet and it was working! Call it spasams or whatever you want, but there is something happening down there and I call it hope! I thank God every minute for the little things he gives us each day. After that, when Jerry fell asleep, I started checking e-mails and stuff and I looked at the facebook site. I was again overwelmed by all the members on that site. Kids I have watched grow up, watched play sports around the Valley, that are all over the state and country at school. Jerry's new friends at Embry-Riddle. Pastors, Preechers, men and women of faith that I have worked with, or served with around RCP. Summer staff that has been to our camp, and campers too, and thier friends, and then all the people I don't even know, and it really blows me away. It just gives me a new perspective about things. I just can't seem to put these thoughts down as well as others, M-B, but I truly from the innermost parts of my body feel the Love as well as my family. I can't wait until the day comes when I can thank each and everyone in person. (Hopefully it not a Monday morning before I had my coffee) So as I get ready to sleep, I will rejoice in what The Lord has given us today, Pray about what HE will do tomorrow, and worry not about the Journey in the future.

Thank You for now, and God Bless.

Dennis, Joy Griffin would like to pray with Jerry in his room, by phone.I didn't know how to make that happen when she emailed late last night. I'm always conscious of "waking" you or Katie, and I didn't want to disturb you. But as I read this, you were awake anyway! Joy is the one who was miraculously healed, even though she was told she would never walk again. She and Wes are our speakers for June family camp. Just let me know. I am praying over you both right now, as you sleep, that the heavenly Father, who hears all, would breathe hope and courage into your very souls. You are precious in his sight.

Just a quick note to say that you and your family are still in my prayers. My heart rejoices for the moments of joy that you're all able to experience. I hope that you're all strengthened by the Lord, that any illness is swept away and that true healing may take place. Never forget how loved you all are and that you're continually being uplifted by prayer.

Irish Blessing

I wish you not a path devoid of clouds,
nor your life on a bed of roses,
Not that you might never need regret,
nor that you should never feel pain.

No. That is not my wish for you.

My wish for you is:

That you may be brave in times of trial.
When others lay crosses on your shoulders,
When mountains must be climbed
And chasms are to be crossed;
When hope scarce can shine through,

That every gift God gave you
May grow along with you.
And let you give the gift of love
To all who care for you.

That you may always have a friend
Who is worth that name,
Whom you can trust,
And who helps you in times of sadness.
Who will defy the storms of daily life at your side.

One more wish for you.
That in every hour of joy or pain,
You may feel God close to you.

This is my wish for you,
And for all who care for you.

This is my hope for you
Now and forever.

Yes something is happening. Jerry keep up the good work. You can do this we all know you can. Just a little bit at a time. Be patient although I know it's hard. God is with you and helping you. Trust in him and believe that he will help you walk again. It is just going to take some time. We love you, we believe in you and we are always going to be their for you.

Jerry,
This message is just for you....

Most of the guys/girls from (SLV) don't know what to say to you. All they know is that they love you, care for you and feel very helpless because they are all away at schools across the state and the country.
If they were able to be there (SCVMC), and not stuck at school right now, they would be physicaly visiting and encourageing you to concentrate on getting you up and out of the bed, out of the wheelchair and beyond.
Whether it's to the track, to the hills, to the court, to the airport to take off to the sky,
they know all of this will be forthcoming because "God is Good," and "God is Great," and "our" Jerry belives this to be true. RIGHT!!!!

Jesus is going to get you there!

As a MOM, I'm not privy to "Facebook," but all these kids are on it. So they lift you up every day and in their small way, let you know you are not forgotten, nor is your beautiful family.

You are beautiful to me!

From all us Valey MOTHERS!
