A Chance to Ask the MacCallisters

I've gotten a couple of emails with questions for the family, ranging from if there is a DVD player in Jerry's room all the way to if he can wear regular clothes while he is at the hospital.

So, here's your chance.

If you have a question about anything, post it here, and I'll pass them on and get the answers.

More later today.....

Dear Marci, You are FAST! God Bless You - you are so on top of things! Guess you saw my long list of questions in comments of your prior posting. but just in case:

dvd player & what movies/videos

live plant (not cut flowers, but live, as studies have shown this to hasten patients' recoveries)

favorite foods and when -

window?: have non plant gift but it IS for a window, or it won't work.

bare walls: nice to put up cards you may receive, but what about pics of friends, things, poster(S)
you may not be interested but....

I have a collection pics (from large calenders I ripped apart) that are of all the really great jets/planes - from F18's to
F22 Raptor (total air dominance!)
These plaster my 'workshop' walls- but maybe you would like one or all of them? I'd be delighted to give them to you.

Hat, sunglasses ? for looking 'cool' while outside?

Just trying to think of things that your friends could bring you.
Gifts are always a good thing & people want to give to you.

Dear MacCallister Family,
My family and I are holding you in prayer with a vision for a miraculous and complete recovery.
My husband is a DJ, and willing to donate his services for any kind of fundraiser that might be arranged.
I am available for free consultation and support in the areas of adjunctive healing modalities that could augment Jerry's healing process, as well as support for the entire family.
The Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation are an amazing organization for connecting with resources and practitioners.
I would be happy to contact them on your behalf.
Anything at all, don't hesitate to ask.

For those of us that are no longer in the Valley,.. Is there anything that we can offer alongside prayers?

Perhaps an address that I could mail letters to.

Hello again,
What could Jerry want? Humm.
What ever happened to Farah Fawcett posters?
How about a life size cardboard cut-out of Joe Montana?
Even CD's from bands like Fleetwood Mac?
Oh, for a moment I was thinking it was Dennis who needed these. (:

Ok, what does Jerry want?
How about visits from his buds, ice cream, music, visit from his girl buds, Dennis or Katie BBQing outside the hospital window, a visit from Boomer, maybe even Hoov Dog, more visits from his buds, the girls Cross Country and Track Teams, the guys who are all stuck at school right now wishing they could be here for you, goldfish to eat (and not the cracker type), or an aquarium with real fish to watch, a bluetooth so you can talk to all your friends that is voice activated with unlimited calling to anywhere you want to call.....just to name a few.
What does our Jerry want?
We are here to get you what you want kiddo!

Hello Jerry:

I have worked with your Grandmother Jan for years. We have grown to be very good friends and she introduced my husband and I to this blog which, we believe, has been your guardian angel for the past several weeks. We have been reading, following, and praying for you and your dear family. The one thing I have grown to love about your grandmother is her inner strength and her faith. I feel that if you are anything like her, and I feel that you most certainly are, you are going to be just fine. Remember that no matter how tough things get sometimes all the strength you'll ever need is right there in that courageous heart of yours. So hang on to that faith and keep forging ahead, trusting in tomorrow. You are in our thoughts and prayers every day.
