Monday Jan 12th

Let me start by thanking everyone for all you are doing to help our family, the support is overwhelming. I have nothing to offer at this point but a thank you, it just feels so insufficient. We do appreciate each and every one you.

Jerry had a good day today, his CT scans came back clear and his pupils have returned to normal size. There is a portion of the arteries that were not visible by the CT scan because the hardware in his neck blocked the imaging. Jerry is getting an MRI this evening so the doctors can be sure there is no damage to the arteries near the hardware. I praise God for the clean CT scans and pray that the MRI comes back clean as well. Jerry was able to get in his wheelchair today and go to the patio again, it was nice to get him out in the fresh air.

Tomorrow we meet with all the "Team", doctors, nurses, physical therapist, occupational therapist, case worker and everyone working on Jerry's case. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the next step in Jerry's recovery. If the MRI comes back clean then Jerry should be able to move to Rehab downstairs Wednesday or Thursday.

Jerry just arrived back from MRI and we need to get him ready for bed, in closing I just want to thank everyone again for keeping Jerry in your daily prayers and sending us all your wonderful prayers and thoughts through this blog. We read each and every post and it uplifts our spirits knowing so many people are praying for Jerry.

We'll post the MRI results as soon as we know.
Good night,
Katie

We love you, Katie and we're praying especially for your strength and peace of mind.

I'm so glad that Jerry's tests came back clean today! Did he get to sample food today as well? One step at a time.

Love to you and Dennis, to Jerry and the kids. My thoughts and prayers surround you, L

Katie, please don't worry that your thank you(s) are ever insufficient. Those two simple words say it just fine, always.
Praying for good test results, good nights sleep for you all, and a stellar treatment plan to come out of the 'Jerry team meeting'...
On another note, the first fundraiser meeting was this evening. There was alot of love in that room!

Jerry, as you prepare for sleep tonight, remeber you have one of the largest families in the Valley.
They consist of not just Josh, Jenea and Jessie but all the friends, teamates, land party dudes, kids your folks coached through the years and yes, even parents and rival teams we sparred against. Be it on the track, on the trails in the woods and hills or on the football field or volleyball court just know how loved you are by this amazing assortment of well wishers. (Your dumb old teachers too)
The Valley is only a small community but as witnessed by the people all over the world who right now are kneeling to pray for you and might not even know you, they feel love and God's hand touching their hearts to ask HIM to heal you.
To us, this is one of many miracles that brings our world closer, our Valley, a not so far away place from the rest of that world.
Peace and clear MRI results await.
God Bless the Mac Callisters!

Katie and Dennis,
Thank you for sharing pictures of Jerry and for keeping everyone updated in the midst of the important work you're doing to support Jerry and make decisions with and for him.
We will not stop praying and are so thankful for the good news that comes daily.
Spreading the word to others who will pray with you for God to astound the doctors with a miracle- even as it comes in bite-sized pieces!
Rest well tonight as prayers go up.
Love,
Jenny (for the Bakers)

You have many many people in the Bay Area thinking about him and praying for his FULL recovery.

As an active motorcyclist myself, I was left for dead after being hit head on by a car in the late 70's.

I was out (semi-coma) for over two weeks. My mother was told many things, but most of all that I would never be the same.

Through god's never ending love, the many prays that awoke me from that coma sleep, healed me and I recovered fully.

Anything under God is possible.
I pray that Jerry will recover the same way I was blessed by his healing hand.

God bless you Jerry, may gods love and hand help you fully recover.

Dennis and Katie,
I was OVERWHELMED by what I experienced in that room tonight on your behalf. Jerry, can I just tell you, you have some very ROCK SOLID friends. I met several of them tonight, and they are strong for you-- WOW! I've never experienced such a coming together in this valley. BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING.

We're praying for you ALL... may you "sleep tight" tonight, Jerry (and mom and dad!)

Love you,
Sharon
