The Big Day - Feb 7

Well the big day is here the "Spaghetti Dinner Fund Raiser". We are very excited, Dennis and I can't wait to see all who plan on being there. There are so many people helping and we appreciate each and everyone of you. We would like to give a special thank you to Sherri Busa, Jennifer Meadows, Kris Sihler, Leanne Martinez, Marci-Beth Maple and Sharon Fry for all the countless hours spent planning this event. We feel very blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives.

We're out of town and won't be able to attend. We will pray the heavens will pour blessings on your heads.

Hi Katie, Dennis & Jerry,

We just got home from a FABULOUS spaghetti dinner and just have to say Wow! We were there right at 5:00 and the place was already packed. What an amazing group of volunteers pulling everything together so incredibly organized (and delicious!) Terry was talking about how he got chills seeing the outpouring from the community and generosity of all of those that donated to the raffle and silent auction. Just amazing. I pray the evening is a huge success! Everyone was having such a wonderful time. You are blessed to have such wonderful friends. And we felt honored to be there to enjoy their hard work... To be there and feel the support pouring out to you from everyone in the room brought a strong sense of hope, healing and happiness all at once! It was an amazing event, but most memorable was seeing you all back home again.

What a terrific evening! The food was delicious - the key ingredient, TLC, was abundant and nutritious! What beautiful hearts and smiles shone tonight through the generosity of so many. Humor, laughter, the pat on the back, hope overflowed, a job well done - many hands making light work, strength and grace - goodness from above.

To use one of Mary's favorite words - AMAZINGNESS! Lord, your love was overflowing among everyone there. What an evening! Thank you seems so cliche, however, it is the first word that comes to mind for the gifts of community, kindness, love, compassion, laughter, fun and a deserved break from hospital food!
Your light shone through Jerry's smile and the smiles of him family and friends, and it was good to see him among all who love him. With gratitude and great hope and faith in Your presence, we lay our heads down with smiles on our faces.

Much love to you all,

Trish, Buel, Mary and Chris
