Unrolled the morning paper and found our own Jerry on the very front page. We thank the Santa Cruz Sentinel for continuing to follow Jerry and his story.
Click here to read about Jerry, Allie, and yet another in our community that needs our prayers, Tim Hatch.

IT was great to see the paper recognize and honor the generosity and spirit of the people in our valley and all the others who are praying and helping financially. Thank you MacAllister family for helping these other families figure out how we can help them too and showing them the ropes. In the midst of all you are going through, you are a blessing to our community. Jerry, keep doing the hard work of getting better. We'll keep praying.
It really is amazing the cluster of local young people who have been injured and needing their community to circle the wagons, dig in and help. As simple as remembering them with a prayer to completely organizing an event, everyone has impacted and been impacted by the immense outpouring of love and support. As odd as it seems to say, thank you for sharing your tragedy as it has touched all of us in one way or another.
I read in today Sentinel that this family was working on their home to make it accessible.
I am so sorry that my current financial situation prevents me from donating financially, but I am Certified Building and Accessibility Inspector/Plans Examiner and I am mobility challenged myself and I am honored anytime I am given the opportunity help make the world more accessible for anyone and everyone.
Please allow me to help if needed.
I am also a retired Santa Cruz County Building Inspector due to a disability caused by a workplace injury and can help through any permit/ accessibility processes that may be an issue, and they really do come up pretty frequently.
I know many local contractors and material suppliers and I am sure they would be happy to help anyone in need of supplies or services.
Best of luck to all involved and Please let me know if there is ANYTHING I can do.
