T-Shirts Anyone?

We are brainstorming ideas of ways to generate more money for China and thought t-shirts might be good.  Before we go and put out a lot of money to have shirts made we thought we would poll you all to determine if there's an interest.  The t-shirts would be $20 which includes shipping and would have the logo on the front breast and maybe the website in the back bottom as seen below.  If you think you would purchase a t-shirt could your leave a comment answering the questions below.  Answering the questions does not commit you to purchasing, it will help us determine if there's enough interest to proceed as well as what colors and sizes.

1. Would you be interested in purchasing a t-shirt?
2. What color t-shirt?
3. What color logo?
4. What size would you order?
5. Do you have an interest in designing the t-shirt?

I would be interested in buying T-Shirts for me and grandpa. I think red and navy blue would be nice, a red shirt with a navy blue logo.

We would both need a 2X. I think this is a good idea.

I think black shirts and white logo would be good, or Navy shirts and white logo, or white shirts navey logo, and maybe the back logo put in a different spot, some of us don't want to draw attention to are bottoms hahahah. I would buy a 2X

I'll be happy to sell your shirts in our shop, Boulder Creek Antiques and Art. Maybe a logo with a redwood tree? Please leave your number at the shore and I'll call you. We have an outreach booth, currently supporting the fire dept. I think a shelf could be devoted to Jerry's cause.
Blessings to you,
Chris Flynn

How ironic! I was thinking awhile ago about designing a tee shirt for SLV that the sales would go to Jerry. I would love to design a tee shirt for you!

any design ideas would be greatly appreciated. the only thing we have to keep in mind is since these will be screen printed there is a one time $40 per color screen fee(a screen has to be made for each color in the design). So I am trying to keep to as few colors as possible so there is as much profit as possible. And we want everyone to be able to recognize the website as easy as possible. Thanks
Leanne

It looks like we have a couple takers on the t-shirts we'll need at least 20 before we decide to invest.

Chris thank you for the offer of selling the t-shirts at the store as well as a possible shelf devoted to the cause. I'll give you a call at the shop. :D

Penny I'd love to see what design you come up with. You can also email me at katie@followingjerry.com

We would grab a couple of shirts - XL
I like all the ideas so far on color.

What a wonderful idea.
I know I would take at least 4, 1 XL, 1 large, 1 medium and 1 small.

I think Jerry should choose the colors. Perhaps the Monster green on black background or keeping with the bracelet colors of navy and white lettering.

Hope all is well and everyday Jerry is feeling stronger.

Praying daily for you Jer.
Lot's of Love,
Gretchen

Love the idea of Monster Green on Black-- we'll take 4, sizes XL, L, and two Mediums. This is a great idea! I have the logo on the back of my car, and it's neat to get responses and share Jerry's story-- I was at the gas station and the guy behind me said, "I hope he wins..." and drove off. I hope he looked the website up! Last week I met a friend of Allie's mom in the dentist office because of the sticker, a really nice lady. JERRY... HANG IN THERE! I think of you and pray for you often, especially lately with all the complications. Blessings, Sharon & the Frys

I'd get one a medium. It would be fun to design too, but I am not sure I would have time.

I would purchase two shirts, one for each of my sons--one of whom was a classmate of Jerry's and asks for updates on Jerry often. They would both be XL and color doesn't matter really, it is the message and purpose that is most important!!

If the shirts were done before the end of football season, I bet you could sell many of them there! The Cougar Club sets up a table with merchandise at most games and though I cannot speak for them, I suspect they may be willing to give you a seat at the table.

wonderful idea, i think any color but white would be best... perhaps black shirt white logo. I'd buy one too!

Hi, been following your blog since you began it. My daughter graduated from SLV in 2008, and Dennis was her softball coach for the JV team.

Just a couple of ideas... I think it would be best to stay with the colors that you have already been using, like the bracelet. Maybe you could do blue shirts with white lettering. And, you could have "Join the Journey" on the front, and "FollowingJerry.Com" on the back.

Maybe you could offer tank tops too.

Also, I bet you could get the SLV schools to offer to sell them along with their own school clothing. And, they have the back to school night coming up and I bet they'd let you sell them there as well. And, the football games have started too.

I would probably order 3 or 4 shirts. XL (2), Medium (2) or (2) medium tank tops.

Always saying prayers for Jerry, and the family too.

Love the Lucas Family

Katie... Just checking in on you guys... Don't have your contact info... I am sure Eric has it, I just don't at this time. I wanted to find out how you are all doing, and try and set something up in the next few weeks, if at all possible, for the families to meet. Hope Jerry is recovering well. I guess I just didn't want to assume, "no news is good news"...

Continuing to pray and journey with you all...

Hi Jerry,

Hope your nausea has gotten better and you're finally finished with those antibiotics.
I keep praying for you and wishing Ed would win the lotto just once so we could get you and mom to China quicker.
How's the Fantasy Football League doing? I haven't heard from Luke for a few days so I'm not up to speed on who was the big winner last weekend, cuz it certainly wasn't the 49ers!@$%@*

Hey Katie and Den,
Thinking of you all today and everyday.

Love,
Gretchen

Hey Guys,

Have you done any tshirts yet?
We would love to do these for you guys. We are doing them in support of Timmy Hatch. What we are doing for them is a one color front design and one color back design listing their sponsors. I only charge you for the Tshirts and I will donate the printing.

oh by the way, we are now in Scotts Valley.

Best Regards,

I'm in for one Large at least.
Could maybe sell more at the local 10k's.

I like the version with the logo across the chest. I think navy blue with a white imprint would not only be easier to read but match the wrist band for those that like to stay color coordinated.
