Thank You!

The pizza party was a huge success last night, it was so great seeing the community support. Thank you to JR Curtis (lacrosse) & Doug Morris (football) for planning and organizing the event, you guys ROCK! We appreciate the time you took from your busy schedules to put on this fund raiser to benefit Jerry and Allie. The Redwood Pizzeria was so gracious to host the event, not to mention they have fabulous pizza, I love the organic pizza crust, hmmm. It was my understanding the pizzeria ran out of pizza and it was the most pizza they've ever sold. Thank you again and again to the entire community for supporting our kids.

Much love,

Katie

I was there last night and was grateful I called my pizza in early. It brought tears to my eyes to see the number of people there supporting Jerry & Allie. People in line were hearing that it was an hour and a half wait for a pizza and they did not turn around and go elsewhere. They just stood in line and smiled and chatted. I love our community!

OK, last night was a bucket filler! What a GREAT thing to see and be a part of.

Oh, let me explain. There's a children's book for 4-9 year olds which is a guide to daily happiness:'Have You Filled A Bucket Today'. It talks about the things we can do to fill our personal buckets- giving to others. By filling others' buckets, we fill our own. My bucket runneth over because of what so many other people do for Jerry and Allie. Thanks!

Thank you, Father, for the buckets of so many. For the generosity of spirit and self, for devotion to You through so many avenues. We continue to be grateful for the gains in Jerry's arms and legs, for the therapies and people who work so hard to help him maintain and improve. Father, bless Katie and Dennis and their family as they continue to live with change. Their compassion reaches far beyond their home. WE are blessed and filled through you. Amen

Hope your day has been full of good things after last night's event.
Love ya,
Trish

Glad to hear Pizza party packed "the house" - not surprised though :) I didn't go, so empty stomach lol, but full heart for both Jerry & Allie, always.
Jerry - hope the nausea in the mornings is better, so you can smile earlier:)
Always in my prayers.

Hey Jer, Rob told us the boys Cross Country team kicked Aptos to the curb Thursday. Revenge is sweet! GO COUGARS!
